Whether you’re looking for guidance and support through a challenging situation or help in addressing concerns such as divorce, death, anxiety, depression, addictive behavior, eating disorders, or relationship issues, I’ll work with you to help meet your goals. I also provide intensive or longer-term intervention services for clients with chronic conditions such as anxiety and panic disorder, who have endured child abuse, or who have physical conditions causing psychological problems. Using the latest in psychotherapy and counseling skills, we’ll work to change long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back. My goal is to help you better understand and resolve the challenges in your life. Ultimately, my wish for you is to discover your true self and find fulfillment and joy.

My Background

I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Kansas (1984), then went on to earn a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (with a specialty in Child Psychology) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
